高纯电熔莫来石再烧结制品的研制
A STUDY ON RESINTERED REFRAGTORIES FROM HIGH-PURITY FUSED MULLITE
【摘要】 以高纯电熔莫来石为主要原料,用硅酸乙酯水解液或硅酸溶胶为结合剂制备了样砖。其性能如下:荷重软化开始温度≥1700℃;0.2MPa荷重下于1550℃持续50h的蠕变率仅0.16%;常温耐压强度高达160MPa以上;耐热震性和抗玻璃侵蚀性也相当优良。优良的性能源于材料的高的纯度和良好的显微结构。
【Abstract】 High-purity fused mullite with an upper limit of grain size, 2mm, was mixed with calcined industrial alumina fines and medium fraction(0.5—1mm)of quartz particles, using either hydrolysate of ethyl silicate or silica sol-gel as a binder. After mixing, pressing and drying, the mixture was then sintered in a furnace with MoSi2 heating elements. in an oxidized atmosphere at 1620℃ for 8h. The properties of the sintered sample brick are as follows: refractoriness under load is≥1700℃; creep rate under 0.2MPa at 1550℃ for 50h is only 0.16%; compressive strength at room temperature is as high as 160MPa; thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance to molten glass are also considerably good. Excellent properties of the sample brick are caused by using high-purity materials and good microstructure obtained.
