【Abstract】 In this paper, firstly, the fundamental principle of expert system is described, and some rules of choicing service object and language tool are discussed. Secondly, in the background of developing expert system of the foreign trade contract,the paper describes not only the determination of this system’s principal functional structures, but also the running situation of the system under two driving modes.
