【摘要】 本文类比其他科学分支比较研究的方法,提出一新的学科分支——“比较地震学”,旨在与相邻科学中近年来所出现的新观点、新理论、新方法、新技术进行比较研究,寻求解决当前地震学所面临问题的新途径和新方法,并打算将这些比较研究的对象、内容与方法系统化,得出具有规律性的认识,促进地震学的发展。本文列举了在震级标度研究中与天文、地学、物理学参量进行比较研究的实例,提出了改进震级标度的途径,并讨论了在研究大陆和板内地震趋势、地幔对流与地震成因等方面的应用。更多还原

【Abstract】 The paper puts forward a new disciplinary branch“comparative seismology”on the ana- logy of comparative research methods of other branches of science,aiming at making com- parative research with new viewpoints,new theories,new methods and new techniques that appeared in the neighboring sciences in recent years in order to search for new approaches to the solution of the problems in the face of seismology at present,intending to systema- tize the objects,contents and methods of comparative research,and to understand the re- gularities so as to promote the developments of seismology.The paper cites cases of ma- king comparative research of the parameters of astronomy,geoscience and physics in the study of magnitude scale of earthquakes,puts forward the way of improving the magni- tude scale,and discusses the application of comparative study in studies on the tendency of continental and intraplate earthquakes,mantle convection and the causes of earthquakes.更多还原
