纤维素硫酸半酯钠盐的分子链相对僵硬性测算
ESTIMATION OF THE RELATIVE STIFFNESS OF THE MOLECULAR CHAIN OF SODIUM CELLULOSE SULFATE
【摘要】 本文测定了已知分子量的纤维素硫酸半酯钠盐在不同离子强度(I)NaCl溶液中,25℃的特性粘数[η],确立了与此相对应的[η]与1/I1/2和logs(=△[η]/△(I)-1/2与 log[η]0.1的线性关系.依 Smidsrod 方程(S=B·[η]0.1v),求得纤维素硫酸半酯钠盐的分子链相对僵硬性参数B值0.088。参数B不仅用作各种高分子链的相对僵硬性的量度,还可以用来定量地表征各种聚电解质溶液特性粘数对外加盐的响应。
【Abstract】 The intrinsic viscosities, [η] , of three sodium cellulose sulfate samples, with known molecular weight and Degree of Substitution=1, were determined at 25℃ under different ionicstrengths, I, of NaCl. [η] vs. and logs vs. log [η]0.1 plots are linear. According to Smidsrod’s Eq, values empirical parameter B are found to be 0.088. 0.090 and 0.088, respectively. The empirical parameter B, which is a measure of relative stiffness of different polymer chains, can also be used as a measure of the response of [η] to the addition of salt for different polyelectrolytes.
