【Abstract】 The interaction of equimolar quantities of benzothiazolylthioacetyl hydrazin(Ⅴ) and aroylisothiocyanates in dry acetone yields a Series of new 1-benzothia-zolylthioacetyl-4-aroylthiosemicarbazides(Ⅵ):The structures of all the compounds synthesized were characterized byelemental analyses, infra-red spectra and by nuclear magnetic resonance spectraand mass spectra for some representative compounds.
