【Abstract】 Self-compensatory control (SCC) is a special mode of automatic control capable of implementation without recourse to external process monitoring and control systems. It relies entirely on possibilities furnished by the properties inherent to the process to be controlled and features of high efficiency, simple implementation and easy achievement of an almost inertialess control. The present paper uses examples of flat rolling to elucidate the basic principles and operation conditions of such a control and its various control effects are also compared, the primary aim being to arouse the interest of the technical circle towards further research and development work along this line.更多还原
