【Abstract】 The magnet is used for 300 KW homopolar generator. It has 370 mm winding inner diameter, 490 mm outer diameter, 300 mm length, 4.8T central field, 5.8 T peak field and 620 KJ stored energy. The magnet uses rectangular, multifilamentary twisted NbTi conductor developed in China, adiabatically stable close-packed design, vacuum impregnation of paraffin-wax,reasonable structure design and fabrication technology. After a small number of training, it achieved the design performance. Thetest shows that the magnet can work reliably and safely at the designconditions.更多还原
