【Abstract】 Looking forward to calling attention to the importance of harnessing the Loess Plateau in a comprehensive way,the authors have reviewed in time the history and achievements of alfalfa(the major feed crop naving a reputation as “the Queen of Foragess”)cientific research work in this poorest area since the founding of PRC on the basis of the contemporary 68 literatures cited for about 40 years up to the present.with the application of systematic engineering theory, the paper has been laid more stresses upon three categories as follows:(1) Materialization,(2)Systematization and(3)Standardization to discuss as to now to fulfil the development of alfalfa science and technology as well as its production and utilization in Loess Plateau Area towards a bright future in 2000 or later.更多还原
