【Abstract】 Three Holsteins in experiment were used to determine the effect of season on blood characteristics of the domestic animals. Experimental and non-experimental cows were keeped in the same group, according to routine feeding and management of the stock farm from March of 1985 to Feberary of 1986. The results indicated that effects of temperature-season on rectal temperaturel respiration rate, packed cell volume（PCV）, erythrocyte counts, hemoglobin, serum glucose, cholesterol, thyroxine（T₄）and free-17-hydroxycorticosterone of the Holsteins were significantly. The average values of PCV, erythrocyte counts, hemoglobin and T₄ decreased and correlated inversely with the today’s mean temperatuse and THI a month before-bleeding, significantly. The average values of glucoses cholesterol and free 17-hydroxycoticostesone of the Holsteins in the hot season lowered and showed inverse correlation ship with the ten day’s mean temperature and THI before bleeding, significantly.更多还原
