【Abstract】 Prolonging the survival of tissue and organ allografts can be achieved by treating the grafts before transplantation. So as to bring no or fewer side effects to the recipient. This sludy reports themethc d and results of prolonging survival by immersing skin allograft in traditional decoctio--Gui Zhi Tang.135 pieces of grafts taken from 32 white baby rabbits were transplanted to grey adult rabbits’ ear. The result showed the survival period of skin grafts which had been immersed for one ho; r at room temperature was prolonged from 8.7 to 12.2 days (p<0.01).
