【Abstract】 The energy density associated with a one-dimensional, small amplitude me-chanical wave is discussed. It includes kinetic energy density and potential energydensity. The expression of the potential energy density is derived from two diffe-rent aspects. Both the two expressions of energy density are more general than thetreatments which appear in common physics textbooks. Besides, the relation betw-een the two expressions of energy density is proved.更多还原
