温冰川上的冰震——以奥地利Hohe Tauern地区Schlatenkees冰川为例
Icequakes on a Temperate Glacier: the Schlatenkees, Hohe Tauern, Austria
【摘要】 在奥地利Hohe Tauern的Schlatenkees冰川上布置了两组地震仪测量网,用电动力垂直地震仪记录到了约1200次冰震。找出了地震学参数彼此之间的几种关系。并根据优势频率,将冰震分成了4组。记录到的震动事件的震深为25—130m,震源半径为12—67m,地震矩为4.23×10~5—6.52×10~7Nm,地震能为9.1—1.34x10~5J,应力降为0.16—32.04hPa。
【Abstract】 The glacier’s seismicity was recorded by two geophone -arrays, equipped with four vertical component seismometers each. During this six week field experiment it was possible to record nearly 1200 events. The Seismic events were recorded with two PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) four - channel - appliances in a digital way on magnetic tapes. The upper limit of a Bessel -inputfilter was choosen to be 100 Hz, the sample rate was 533 values per second per channel. Frequency -analysis showed later on that the upper limit of seismic events with hypocentres close to the seismic stations was not higher than about 40 Hz. Adopting Brune’s stress pulse model seimological parameters of the icequakes have been determined directly via analysis of the seimograms in time -and especially in frequency domain.Various relations between some of these seismological parameters were found. Whether this relatons are typical for icequakes at all or for icequakes of a temperate glacier it is impossible to state now ,because no relations of seismological icequake -parameters in the literature are known up to know.Concerning to their domain frequency the icequakes can be subdivided into four main groups. The events recorded on the Schlatenkees have focal depths between 25 m and 130 m, their source radius varies from 12 m to 67 m. The seismic moments are ranging from 4.23 · 105 N · m to 6.52 · 107 N · m, the seismic energy released during the focal process ranges from 9.1 J to 1.34 · 105 J and the stress drop from 0.16 hPa to 32.04 hPa.
