【Abstract】 The fat-soluble pigments from faecal matter of the silkworm were isolated by a modified method of the thin layer chromatograph. This process showed 8 chromatographic bands. These chromatogranhic components were scanned with Beckman DU-7 chromatograph. The result shows that the excrement of the silkworm larvae contains such pigments as carotene, chlorophyll a and b, chlorophyll derivatives and carotenoid derivatives.更多还原
