用应变能法研究模具钢的热疲劳性能
STRAIN ENERGY DAMAGE MODEL AND ITS APPLICATION TO TOOL STEEL THERMAL FATIGUE
【摘要】 本文提出的应变能法是采用能量损伤观点对 Manson-Coffin的应变幅——寿命法(M-C公式)的修正,用以予测热作模具钢5Cr2NiMoVSi、5CrNiMo的热疲劳的寿命。该法指出热疲劳寿命不但是非弹性应变幅△εin的函数,而且也是平均拉应力σ的函数,即材料的热疲劳寿命是强度和塑性的综合性能指标。使用应变能法予测热疲劳寿命时,实验结果与实际模具的使用寿命相吻合,而用 M-C公式予测则有时和实际情况相反。
【Abstract】 The strain energy damage model (SEDM), namely, a modification of Man-son-Coffin equation, has been developed to predict the life of thermal fatiguewere done to 5Cr2NiMoVSi (5Cr2 for short) and 5CrNiMo tool steels. It showethat the life can be predicated by two variables: i.e, the thermal fatigue lifesof material is a property determined by strength and plasticity of materials.Using SEDM, the results are in accord with the actual life of dies,on the con-trary, the results are opposite to the actual life of dies while using Manson-Coffin equation predication.
