The paper gives a brief introduction to trial researches in the storage of vegetable oils by means of specially-prepared iron powder as a deoxidizing agent. In comparison with the conventional methods of storing oils in N2 or Co2, deoxidizer has an exclusive effect on the inhibition of the increase of superoxidisability in oil products. We herein come up, in theory as well as in practice, with the reference basis for the application of deoxidizer in the storage of oil products.
