【Abstract】 The spider, Oedothorax insecticeps Boes. et Str. is a-major predator of ricehoppers in paddy fields. It has six overlapping generations per year in southern part of Guangxi. The population peak occurs during May to June, when its reproduction rate is the highest of the year. It has no obvious overwinter-period in southern Guangxi. The species was found to be tolerant to cool temperature and starvation. The population of O. insecticeps was fourid to be higher in early-planting paddies than in late-planting ones. It fluctuates with the population of planthoppers.更多还原
