【Abstract】 The effect of temperature was studied on the parent longivity, fecundity and progeny sex ratio of Telenomus euproctidis Wilcox, an important egg parasite of Euproctis pseudoconspersa Strand. Results showed that high temperature significantly reduced the parent survival rate and its fecundity. The mortalities were 50.0%, 40.7%, and 4.6% for 31°, 26°, and 22℃, respectively 11 days after emergence, and as high as 93.1% for 36℃ 5 days after emergence. Total mean progenies for a female were 121.6, 199.6, 83.6, and 4.3 for 22°, 26°, 31° and 36℃, respectively, suggesting that 26℃ was optimum for oviposition. No significant differences, however, were noted in the sex ratio of progenies.更多还原
