【Abstract】 A simple handmade soft lens was introduced.The lens contain-ing atropine and chloramphenicol of 1 mg each were made from ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer.The in vitro results evidenced the sustained release of both drugs while thein vivo results confirmed the prolongation of the desired pupillary response upto 7 days.To normal rabbit cornea,some side effects,including redness,edema andfluorescein staining etc.occurred,but subsided without treatment.To artificially perforated cornea wounds,the lens showed anti-infection,anti-inflammation,pupil dilatation actions with adequate therapeutic effects.更多还原
