【Abstract】 This paper deals with application of longitudinal function method ofhull lines generation to fishing vessels featuring a designed trim.It produ-ces an interactive design approach,where polynomial chains are employedto represent sectional curves and longitudinal functions are well manipu-lated.Two body plans generated with this approach are shown.They couldbe considered satisfactory and available for use in initial design stage.So-me of the major problems of the present approach are described.更多还原
