麦草浆不同筛分组份特性及其对纸浆性能的影响

【摘要】 本试验研究了未漂化学麦草浆不同筛分组份的特性,并就其细对组份(P100)对纸浆性能的影响进行了探讨。研究结果表明,与纤维组份相比,富含杂细胞的细小组份(P100)有较高的灰份,木素,树脂含量,较高的润胀程度,较低的结晶度指数和平均聚合度。各筛分组份浆料手抄片的物理强度以长纤维组份为最高,随着浆料粒子粒度的下降,各组份的物理强度降低。化学麦草浆细小组份不同于磨木浆细小组份,浆中细小组份的存在不仅降低了纸浆纤维平均强度,而且还影响纤维间的结合。筛除20%的细小组份,可以提高强度15%,若要提高20%的强度,则需筛除30~40%的细小组份。此外,筛除细小组份可以提高成纸的表面强度,减少印刷时的掉毛掉粉,改善纸页的印刷适性。

【Abstract】 The characteristics of various fractions from unbleached chemical wheat straw pulp and the effects of fines on the properties of the pulp have been studied. It is shown that coarse fibers differ from fines not only in shape, but also in molecular level. The fines fraction consists mostly by parenchyma cells, which can pass through 100-mesh in a Bauer-MCNett apparatus. Furthermore, fines possess higher ash, lignin resin, and xylan contents. Fines tend to swell more in water. Both the crystallinity index and the degree of polymerization (DP). of fines fractions are lower than those of the fiber fractions. Handsheets made from long fibers are higher in physical strength; however, strength properties decrease with decreases in fiber mesh size. The presence of fines in the pulp appears to be unfavoable both to pulp strength and to fiber-to-fiber bonding. Removal of 20% of the fines in the pulp brings about 15% increase in tensile; whereas with about 30% fines removed, 20% increase in tensile will be achieved. It is noted further that handsheet surface strength will be enhanced and picking diminished by removing fines fractions from the pulp.
