【Abstract】 Thallium sulfate may inducechondrodystrophy in chick embr-yo.Ultrastructure changes of th-ese cells showed accumulation inlarge amount of the product ofcell itself.The changes was dueto defect in membrane formationwhich had been induced by thalliumsulfate.With the aid of the gluta-thione peroxidase containing ele-ment selenium,accumulation ofperoxides was prevented,membranesystem was stabilized,and membra-ne defect was improved.Therebychondrocytes were safeguarded.更多还原
