用于直接检测系统的行波半导体激光中继放大器
The Travelling-Wave SemiConductor Laser RePeater Amplifiers for Direct Detection System
【摘要】 本文以半经典的电磁理论为基础,研究了行波半导体激光中继放大器的噪声和信噪比特性。分析表明:提高放大器接收的信号功率与饱和输出功率能够延长系统的无再生中继距离。我们用行波放大器作中继放大实验,得到了(9±2)dB 的线路增益。
【Abstract】 Based on semiclassical electromagnetic theory noise and SNR performance of tra-velling-wave semiconductor laser amplifiers are studied as repeaters in IM-DD fiber communica-tion system.The non-regerative repeater specing can be expanded by enhancing the receivedinput signal level and the saturation output power of the repeaters.Using the amplifier asa repeater,a(9±2)dB link gain is measured.
