离散单元法及其在斜面方形岩块滑落倒塌破坏中的应用(英文)

【摘要】 离散单元法(Distinct Element Method)是由Cundall于1971年提出的,它被认为是解决离散的、非连续体的问题的一个比较有效的方法,在边坡工程和巷道稳定性研究中已得到广泛应用。本文论述了离散单元法的思想和原理,并给出了运用根据离散单元法编写的计算机程序进行的几个模拟计算实例。在相同的物理参数条件下做了斜面上岩块滑落倒塌破坏的物理试验,对计算机模拟结果和物理试验结果以及计算机模拟结果和理论分析方法进行了定性或定量的对比工作。在单个岩块一定时间内在斜面上滑落的距离,多个岩块在斜面上滑落倒塌的整体运动性态及个別岩块参数的变化对相邻岩块破坏情况的影响等方面,获得了模拟计算同物理试验及理论计算相近似的满意结果。所编写的程序可适用于任何几何形状岩块破坏性态的模拟计算,具有一定的灵活性。

【Abstract】 The distinct element method proposed by Cundall in 1971 has been applyed to simulate the process of sliding and toppling failures. To check the accuracy of the computer simulation, a series of physical experiments as well as analytical calculations have also been carried out.Two problems are treated in this paper; One is on the sliding and/or toppling behaviors of jointed pillars. The other problem is on the behavior of plane sliding of a quadrangle block in relation to the force required to arrest its movement.Excellent agreements between the simulated resultsand the physical test results should indicate that the distinct element method is effective to solve the problems concerning discontinuous rock mass.
