【Abstract】 128 eyes in 65 normals whose visual acuity was 1.0 were tested central contrast sensitivity function (CSF) hy static sine grating(0.5—22.8 cycle/degree). The characteristic of CSF in normals showed declining with increasing age, In particular, there was a significant difference between 11—40 years and 50—70 years in medium and high spatial frequency. The results show a significant degree relation in vision with age that is not revealed by standard visual acuity testing. It is suggested that the ranges of normal values be established for each of several age groups.更多还原
