【Abstract】 After analysing 60 cases of congenital ptosis which undertook levator palpebrae superioris muscle resection and measuring the eye fissure preoperatively, the amount of muscle resected and the eye fissure again postoperatively, the author examined the levator palpebrae superioris muscle anatomically and histologically and then analysed the statistical data and calculated the table of resection quantity for different eye fissure. Finally, the author obtained a new value for operation quantity, i. e. basing upon the lower border of Whitnall’s ligment, 3.45mm of levator palpebrae superioris muscle should be resected with elevating 1 mm of upper palpebrae border.更多还原
