【Abstract】 The relation between essential hypertension and smoking in 1,216 adult male Koreans of Yanji City was investigateb. The results are as follows: (1) Theaverage prevalence rates for the smoking and non-smok ing gr oups were 15.27% and 10.38% respectively (U=2.60, P<0.01).
