【Abstract】 The bis-Schiff base prepared from 4-chloro-2-(p-nitro-benzyloxy ) isophthalaldehyde and o-aminophenol was treated with cupric acetate monohydrate in absolute alcohol. The ether linkage was cleaved under the influence of Cu( Ⅱ ) ion and the products isolated were a copper( Ⅱ ) binuclear complex and p-nitrobenzyl alcohol.更多还原
