【Abstract】 The present paper presents an investigation report on 44 patients with hypokalemic flabbiness disease of a farm in Pingjiang county Hunan province, in which the diagnosis, etiology and pathogenesis of the disease were discussed. The results of our investigation suggest that there exists a close relationship between this disease and the gossypol in the raw cotton seed oil, and that discontinuing to ingest raw cotton seed oil is an effective measure to prevent the disease from occurring. It was also found that the body potassium of this disease was lost probably via kidney.更多还原
