【Abstract】 A method of spectrofluorimetric determination of water soluble boron in soils by extracting BF₄^-—methylene blue tricomponent complex with dichloroethane is described, The present method is compatatively simple and sensitive. Its detection limit is 0.5μg boron in 1 gram sample with a percentage recovery of 98—113%, and the relative standard deviation is less than 10.7%. Common ions in toils have no interference.
