【Abstract】 Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort alkaloid Ⅲ is a polycationic compound. It can combine with the negative charge of mitochondrial membrane to form an ionic-bond complex. This paper has investigated the effects of this compound on mitochondrial morphology and functions. The results indicats. ( 1 )At certain concentration, K+ can competitively affect the inhibition of Alkaloid Ⅲ on oxygen up take of mito chondria; ( 2 ) Alkaloid Ⅲ can combine with mitochondria, change the charge of surface of mitochondrial membrane and decrease the electrophoretic mobility of mitochondria; ( 3 ) Alkaloid Ⅲ can protect the spontaneous mitochondrial swelling induced by TritonX-100. These results are favourable to clarify the mechanisms of Alkaloid Ⅲ on curing the heart and brain diseases of blood vessel.更多还原
