【Abstract】 The leaf of Leucaena leucocephala cv. Salvador is rich in crude protein (25—29％) and carotene. It contains many kinds of amino acids which are essential to animals. It is thus a high yielding animal feed with high qualityae protein. Feeding experiments on chickens and swine with 5％ and 15％ of Leucaena leucocephala leaves respectively showed significant results, A one-month experiment on chickens at a rate of 50％ resulted in no abnormal shedding moulting of the fowls.更多还原
