湛江临海点源排污对附近海洋环境的影响
EFFECTS OF SEWAGE DISCHARGED TO THE SEA FROM A POINT SOURCE IN ZHANJ|ANG
【摘要】 本文探讨了湛江港西侧的一间临海化工厂大量未处理的工业废水排入海后,其有害物质在附近海区的行为。发现大多数有害物质的浓度与距离之间的关系可用Ci=αL-b表示。从大多数有害物质浓度与盐度之间呈幂函数的关系可见,浓度的降低不仅仅是大量潮水稀释所致,还存在强烈的物理、化学沉积的过程,致使污水携带入海洋的大量有害物质在海水中迅速得到稀释和沉淀,受到污染的沉积物,其重金属浓度约高出邻近海区相应背景浓度1—2个数量级,破坏了海区原有的红树林生态环境。
【Abstract】 In the present paper the behaviour of most harmful matters brought by the large amounts of sewage that have not been treated and discharged into the sea by a coastal chemical plant in the west of Zhanjiang estuary is studied. It has been found that the relation between concentration of the most harmful matters and the distance from the station might be shown in Ci = aLb(b<0). From the relationship between the concentration of most harmful matters and salinity it is shown that the decrease of concentration of most harmful matters are due not only to dilution by the large amounts of seawater, but also to the strong physical and chemical process of the deposits. As a result the harmful matters brought into sea by sewage have been rapidly diluted and deposited. Contents of heavy metals contaminating the deposits are one to two magnitudes higher than that in the neighbouring sea at the background. It has damaged the ecological environment of the mangrove forest at the coast.
