【Abstract】 Several test methods of measuring mechanical losses in diesel engines are presented in this paper. Experimental data obtained by "motoring" the engine and empirical equations are provided. Under the condition of lacking testing equipments, mechanical losses in each part of diesel engines can be estimated by calculation equations. The ways and measures to redace the mechanical losses are pointed out in the paper.更多还原
