【Abstract】 This paper reports a new type of Judging and measuring instrument for Gaussian beamand its specifications.According to the principle of "four--point method" presented by the present authors tomeasure the intensities at four coordinate points on the same cross--section of the beam tobe measured, we have studied and designed this instrument.
