具有低开关阈的棱镜—银—液晶装置中的光学双稳
Optical Bistability with Low Threshold Power in a Prism--silver--liquid Crystal Device
【摘要】 理论计算表明,在棱镜-银-液晶装置中,利用热效应产生的光学双稳的最小开关阈低达0.1mW,这比文献[1]中装置的最小开关阈低两个数量级。
【Abstract】 It is shown theoretically that, in a prism-silver-liquid crystal Kretschmann configu-ration, by using the effect of thermally induced refractive index variation, an extremelylow tlireshold power for bistability operation, 0.1 mW, can be achieved. This thresholdvalue is 2 orders of magnitude less than that of the device reported recently in ref.[1].
