水磷钙钍石在我国的发现及其研究
A STUDY OF BROCKITE FOUND IN CHINA
【摘要】 在白云鄂博地区发现的水磷钙钍石呈脉状产于元古代变质石英砂岩中,共生矿物有透辉石、金红石、磷灰石、重晶石、赤铁矿和黄铁矿等。颜色从浅黄色到红褐色乃至黑色,从透明至半透明以至不透明。红褐色水磷钙钍石为玻璃光泽,比重3.42,摩氏硬度4.28—4.29,磁化率(2.34—3.99)×10-6C·G·S·m cm3/g,平均折光率No=1.65,Ne=1,66,一轴晶(+)。 水磷钙钍石的化学式为:(Ca0.5751Th0.4502U0.0070La0.0030)1.0353(P0.7578S0.0928)0.8506O4(CO3)0.1603,0.9H2O。六方晶系,晶胞参数a=6.94A,c=6.51A。
【Abstract】 Brockite has been found for the first time in the Bayan Obo region, China.which is quite similar to the brockite found by F, G. Fisher and R.Meyrowitzin chemical composition and crystal structure. Brockite occurs as red brown massive aggregates in proterozoic metamorphicquartz sandstones and coexists with diopsite, rutile, apatite, barite, hematiteand pyrite. It is pale yellow to red-brown or even black, and transparent totranslucent or even opaque. Red brown brockite is greasy in luster. Specificgravity: 3. 42-3. 82, hardness: 4. 18-4. 29, magnetic susceptibility: (2. 34-3. 99)×10-6C. G. S. m cm3/g, mean refractivity: No=1. 65, Ne=1.66. It is unia-xial(+), Its chemical formula is (Ca0,5751Th0.4502U0.0070La0.0030)1.0353(P0.7578S0.0928)0.8506O4(CO3)0.1503 0.9H2O. It is of hexagonal system, cell parameters: α=6.94A and.c=6.51 A. When heated to 800-1100℃, brockite exhiblts a monazite structureDTA curve for brockite indicates three absorption effects at 159,839 and 951℃while DTG curve shows that brockite has a weight loss of about 12%. Infraredabsorption spectroscopy of the brockite shows H2O, CO2 and P2O5 Vibrationzones at 3400 and 1620 cm-1, 1490 and 1400 cm-1, and 1070, 1000, 630 and540 cm-1.
