TRANSPLANTATION OF HUMAN OSTEO-SARCOMA INTO ATHYMIC NUDE MICE
【摘要】 <正> Ⅰ. INTRODUCTION Since Rygaard and Povlsen first successfully transplanted human tumors into nude mice, many attempts have been made to the xenograft of various kinds of human tumors into this immunologically defective animal. The human tumor/nude mouse system is thought to have provided a unique opportunity for the study of the biology of human tumors and the test of potential antineoplastic agents. However, the medical literature contains few reports of serial transplantation of human osteosarcoma in nude mice.
