【Abstract】 Liangtoujian" is the requisite material of famous traditional Chinese medicine- "Zaizaowan" . It grows in Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Sandong and Hebei Province. The pharmacopoeia of China indicates that "Liangtoujian" is the dry rhizome of Anemone raddeana Regel. "Liangtou-jian" of Jilin was investigated. The rhizome of Anemone amurensis (Korsh.) Kom.was found mixed in the commercial medicinal herb. Occasionally there were few root tubers of Isopyrum manshuricum Kom. and Laportea bulbifera) Sieb. et Zucc.) Wedd.in the medicinal herb.
