吉林暖木条子恩苏塔矿的发现及其矿物学和热学的研究

【摘要】 <正> 一九七三年在吉林省桦甸县暖木条子锰矿区发现了恩苏塔矿。近二十多年,该矿物已在世界上多处发现,但皆局限在热带及亚热带,而在高纬度的较寒冷地带、目高尚未见到报导。现已证实,该矿物是一种多见的锰矿物,分布很广,是构成许多大型锰矿床的主体矿物。该矿物在我国南方七十年代中期虽有发现,但未作详细报导。现将这种矿物的研究成果予以报导,以便对寻找这种多见矿物,探讨其生成机理、深入研究该矿物性质、积累矿物资料都是有意义的。

【Abstract】 Nsutite was discovered in the Nuanmutiaozi manganic mine, Huadian coun- ty, Jilin province. It occurred within oxydation zone on the rhodochrosite bed in the intercalated marble of phyllite of the Nuanmutiaozi Formation, upper Permian series and is the major mineral of the oxydation zone. Nsu- tite is generally distributed in tropics and subtropics, and was found pro- bably for the first time in colder regions of high latitudes. The Jilin Nsutite occurs as aggregates of fine laminary and wedgelike cry- stals. Its chemical formula is Mn0.914 (Mn...2+)0.09O1.71 (OH)0.29 (X=0.09). It belougs to hexagonal system. The main diffraction lines are: 3.962A (9) , 2.429A (8) , 2.126A (8) and 1.636A (10) . A series of products including MnO2 (tetragonal) , Mn6O8 (monoclinic) , Mn3O4 (tetragonal) and Mn2O3(cubic)are formed during tue heating of Nsutite, showing transformation temperature of each phase. The authors hold that the transformation of from Mn4+ to Mn2+ appears chiefly between MnO2 and Mn6O8, and hydroxyls in the mineral occur as interlayer water rather than constitutional water. The concept that Nsutite was evolved from pyrolusite is proposed in this paper
