【Abstract】 The experiment of prevention of piglet anaemia Was carried out withGleptosil (Fisons Limited-Pharmaceutical Division, Leughberough, England). Onehundred and sixty one piglets were allocated into two groups, one of which wereinjected intramuscularly with 1 ml of Gleptosil, and the other group as control. Atweaning of two months age, the piglets of the group used Gleptosil increased in weightof 2.32 Kg more than those of control group in average. Statistical analysis the resultwas very significant (P<0.01). The results also showed that Gleptosil could enhancethe content of hemoglobin and the packed-RBC volumne, which could prevent pigletsfom latent anaemia. The experimant was also made on difierent pig braeeds but nosignificant difference was found.更多还原
