【Abstract】 Quaternary geological research is an important basic work for hydrogeolo-gical and engineering geological investigations. Conditions and variations of hydrogeology, in some big Quaternary sedimentary basins, are controlled by distribution and structures of Quaternary sediments, and by neotectonic move, ments. After the formation of Quaternary sediment, its surficial geological function has influenced greatly the lithologic association, texture, physical mechanic property and other engineering geological characters of the sediment. The development of modern physical geology is in the regional geological environment of Quaternary, so the Quaternary geologic research becomes more important to hydrogeologic and engineering geologic work.更多还原
