冲绳海槽第四纪浊流活动对介形虫分布的影响

【摘要】 本文是依据冲绳海槽17个采样站位336个样品分析结果,认为介形虫分布具有如下特征:1.在粉砂质浊积层中介形虫化石非常丰富,富集的尸积群化石堆积成层;2.浊积层中介形虫积层富集的数量是与海槽升降速度和频率相关;3.尸积层中介形虫大部分是属滨海和浅海类型,完全不同于深海介形虫.

【Abstract】 The geological data and Ostracoda fossils dealt with in this paper were collected from the Okinawa Trough and the eastern slope of the Ryukyu Ridge. As a result of analysis of 366 samples from sediments accumulated since the end of the Late Pleistocene at 17 sampling stations, a large amount of reworked elements are recognized in the Ostracoda fossil assemblage. It is apparent that the reworking is closely related to turbiditic sedimentation. Turbidite is not only well developed but also widespread in the Okinawa Trough, especially, in the southern part of the Trough. For example, there are sampling stations 865 (water depth 1880m, during the Late Pleistocene) and 872 (water depth 2295m, during the Holocene), where the Ostracoda distribution exhibits the following characteristics:1. The Ostracoda fossils are very abundant in finer silty turbidite but much less in non-turbiditic sediments. In the turbidite enriched thanatocenose fossilshave accumulated into layers.2. Quantity of Ostracoda fossils in the turbidity current deposits depends largely on scale of turbidite sedimentation, and number of the enriched Ostracoda thanatoceneose layers in a turbidite sequence as well as thickness of interval between the two layers are closely related to the rate and frequency of subsidence and uplifting of the Okinawa Trough.3. Most of the Ostracodas in the thanatocenose layers are littora and neritic forms of various environments, they are quite different from abyssal Ostracodas-4. Ostracodas in turbidity current deposits are in relatively poor preservation, suffered from either mechanical abrasion on the shell surface or shattering of carapaces under mechanical disruption.
