厦门湾的沉积环境

【摘要】 现代厦门湾沉积环境变化主要表现在海湾迅速淤浅、三角洲加快向海推进.九龙江三角洲前积层平均每年淤高10—15厘米;向海推进的距离为100—150米/年.近三十年来的人工围海和上游来沙大增是造成海湾淤积加快的重要原因.

【Abstract】 The Xiamen Bay is a complex bay composed of the Jiulong River eastury, Dongdu bay and Wuton bay. They are different charactristic bays on the oceanology and sedimentology.Based on the data of the surface sediments and core the following points are proven: (1) Since Holocene, the Xiamen Bay went through three stages: hilly river, fresh lake and marine bay. (2)In the last hundreds years, especially at the last thirty years, the sedimentation rate in the Xiamen Bay is higher then before because: (A) the erosion has been increasing as the forest in the Jiulong River basin has been decreasing; (B) all minor bays of the Xiamen Bay are closed by dams and the tidal influence is greatly decreased, the area of Xiamen Bay is redused.The sediment environments of the Xiamen Bay, may be divided into 6 types as in fig. 7.
