【Abstract】 In this paper the effect of Cordyceps sinensis(CS-Ⅱ)on T-lymphocyte subsets was reported.BALB/c mice weighing 19.6-25.5 g were used.The test group received three doses of CS-Ⅱi.p.on three consecutive days.Blood was drawn before and after injection.Spleens were taken out when the animals were sacrificed on the 7th experimental day.FACS analysis of the periphoral blood showed marked increase of total lymphocyte,Lyt-1~+ lymphocyte(helper cells)and Lyt-1/Lyt-2(helper /Lyt-2,Helper/suppressor)ratio in the test group,as compared with those in the control gorup and with those before treatment.In spleen,both the absolute mumbers and the Lyt-t/Lyt-2 ratio in the large and small lymphocyte groups were higher in the test group than the control group.Thus,It probably indicates the natural killer cells in the large granular lymphocyte category were also increased simutaneously.In addition,the spleen weight and splenic phogoeyte counts were also markedly elevated in the test group.Our study further substantiates that CS is an immunos- timulant or biological response modifier in cellular immunity and it may be potentially useful for treating immtinodeficient or immunosuppressed patients.更多还原
