【Abstract】 Thirty-six patients with mild or moderate hypertension were treated withnifcdipine for two to three months.The drug relieved symptoms,especiallyhee.daches,in 94.4% of the patients.Nifedipine lowered blood pressure in 83.3%of the patients with 70% reaching normaldiastolic levels.These levels were achieved within a week and remained steady throughout the observation period.When diastolic heart function was checked at the end of the study period,theA/H and A/D ratios were shown to be decreased as compared to levels beforetreatment,the A₂OI and DATI were prolonged all to a statistically significantdegree.Above changes reflect the improvement of diastolic heart function.It isconsidered that nifedipine could be a valuable anti-hypertensive agent.更多还原
