铬离子激活晶体发光的温度变化特性
STUDY OF THE TEMPERATURE DEPENENT RELATION OF THE LUMINESCENCE PROPERTIES OF CHROMIUM DOPED CRYSTALS
【摘要】 本文分析了温度变化对于处于强场或中介场基质晶体中铬离子宽带发光性能的影响,指出有可能在某一温度范围内,这种材料的宽带发光效率高且热淬灭不甚显著而成为制造终端声子激光器的合适材料。并分析论证了在500~600K温度条件下用红宝石制作可调谐激光器的可能性,建议开展高温下红宝石发光性能的实验研究。
【Abstract】 For chromium ions doped in crystals with strong or intermediate crystal field(where the energy splitting between 4T2 and 2E, △>0), the influence of incr-easing temperature on their wide band luminescence properties appears on two sides,decreasing △ and arising the distributive population of 4T2 result in the increaseof wide band luminescence efficiency on one side, and increasing radiationless rela-xation rate and causing the "heating" of ground state 4A2 make luminescence quen-chen on other side. This paper has analysed its properties and argued that isnossible to make Ruby get phonon-terminated laser under temperature range of500K to 600K.
