【Abstract】 A position sensitive multiwire proportional chamber with effective area of 20×20cm2 is described in this paper. The grouped-wire method was applied to the cathode wires, in which the induced signals were read out. The electron avalanche positions were determined by the distribution center of the induced charges. A position resolution of 1 mm was obtaied for 55Fe X Jay of 5.9keV.更多还原
