【Abstract】 In this paper a simple and efficient algorithm is given which works well in computation of the structural reliability index when the random variables are correlated. Its correctness is known through application of it in examples. By applying the algorithm a sequence that converges to the most probable failure point in a very few cycles is established. The method is especially useful in computer analysis of the complicated engine-ering structural reliability.更多还原
