荧光粉平均粒径算法
CALCULATION METHOD FOR MEAN DIAMETER OF PHOSPHOR POWDER
【摘要】 本文总结了荧光粉平均粒径两种算法,分布函数法与模型独立法。提出了由个数、长度、面积和重量四种基准表示来计算各种平均粒径的两个统一方程:对数正态方程与模型独立方程。应用微机验证了两个方程的一致性和实用性,指出模型独立方程不仅适用于服从对数正态分布的荧光粉颗粒而且对于其它分布的所有颗粒材料都具有普遍适用意义。使用该方程计算各种平均粒径方法简单、准确、实用,尤其是可极方便地应用微机进行数据处理。
【Abstract】 In order to descript relations between mean diameter of phosphor powder and particle size distribution function or frequency percentage, the following mathematical model has been proposed: 1. Log-normal equationBased on Hatch-Choate’s equation, log-normal equation has been derived:where P,q= 0,l,2,3,4 corresponding to all kinds of mean diameters;k,l = 0,1,2,3 corresponding to four bases: number, length, suface and weight, respectively;σg-geometric standard deviation; Xgk-geometric mean dimeter or median for k base; Xpq(k)-mean diameter for k base.The equation not only unifies Hatch-Choate’s equation consisting of several equations, but also shows the relations between all kinds of mean diameter and particle size distribution parameters for four bases especially.2. Model independent equationFrom the definition of mean diameter for four bases , the model independent equation has been derived as following:where j = 0,1,2,…,N;Fk(Dj )-frequency percentage for k base, corresponding to jth fraction ofparticle size. The equation has provided a efficient method of calculating all kinds of mean diameters by using any base frequency percentage directly. The method not only applies to log-normal distribution, but also to other kinds of distributions.The mathematical model mentioned above has been applied to DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR PARTICLE SIZE MEASUREMENT developed with microcomputer technique and DISC CENTRIFUGE (JOYCE LOEBL) particle sizer in our laboratory.
