Mg对固相扩散Nb3Sn生长特性和超导性能作用的研究
A STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF Mg ON THE GROWING AND SUPERCONDUCTING PROPERTIES OF Nb3Sn IN SOLID DIFFUSION PROCESS
【摘要】 采用“Nb管富Sn法”研究了Mg添加到Cu-Sn母体中后,Nb3Sn在固相扩散形成过程中的生长特性、微组织结构变化与其超导性能的关系。研究结果表明:Mg能形成Mg-Nb-O化合物沉淀相粒子并弥散分布在Nb3Sn层靠母体一例的晶粒中,细化了这部分晶粒,提高了临界电流密度;Mg的作用主要是通过改变Nb3Sn层的微组织结构来影响其超导性能。
【Abstract】 Using Sn rich Nb tube method, we have, by adding Mg to Cu-Sn matrix, investigated the -growing characteristics of Nb3Sn in solid diffusion process and the changes of the microstruc-ture with the superconducting properties. The results show that Mg is found to form Mg-Nb-O precipitate particles, distributing in grains near Nb3Sn/Cu-Sn boundary. This in turn retards the Nb3Sn grains from coarsening and increases the critical current density of Nb3Sn. The main effect of the Mg addition lies in the enhancement of the superconducting properties by changing the microstructure of the Nb3Sn layers.
